Description

The division insignia is a golden talon on a circular black background. The black background signifies surprise. The talon signifies the seizing of golden opportunity through surprise. This is a pin dedicated to the US Army’s 17th Airborne troops. The 17th Airborne is also known as the thunder from heaven was founded in Camp Mackall on April 15th, 1943. This is a nice pin that brings out the power of the 17th Airborne.
